Saucony was founded in 1898 in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, and takes its name from Saucony Creek, the stream that ran past the first factory. Even the logo comes from there: it depicts the flowing water and the stones on the creek bed. The brand still makes running shoes, and part of its archive has come back as street trainers.
