The Puma Speedcat Ballet is a ballet flat with the sole of a racing shoe: the same tyre-tread pattern as the Speedcat and the Formstrip on the side, here cut in suede. On top sits a cowhide leather vamp with a round toe, and elastic straps cross the instep to hold the foot without buckles or laces.

Which Puma Speedcat Ballet to choose

The plain versions are the easiest to style: White Black, Whisp of Pink, Black Mauve Mist or Silver go with almost your whole wardrobe. If animal print is your thing, the Croc Print Vapor Gray and the Snakeskin Black Vapor Grey swap the smooth leather for embossed croc and snakeskin, and the Cow Print goes for cow spots. The Fleur, Nova and Dress-Up lines are the dressiest, with metallic finishes like Aged Silver, Metallic Gold Warm White or Matte Bronze.

The Ballet drops the laces and the tongue: it is a slip-on with elastic straps over the instep and the open topline of a ballet flat. It keeps the rubber sole with its tyre-tread pattern and the Formstrip on the side of the Puma Speedcat.

Does the Puma Speedcat Ballet come in half sizes?

Some. Puma makes it in EU sizes 35.5 to 42.5, with halves like 37.5, 38.5 or 40.5, but not all of them. As not every colourway comes in every size, check the guide on each product before ordering.
