Nike Air Force 1

7 products

The Nike Air Force 1 has been on the streets since 1982: a leather upper with a perforated toe, a rubber sole and Air cushioning hidden inside the midsole. Few trainers have been reworked as often.

Here you will find the Air Force 1 Low '07 in Triple White, in black and in the LV8 with silver details, plus the versions with braided rope laces in white and in black. Every pair is genuine.

If you are looking for Air Force 1s, this is where you will find the Low '07, the low-top version you now see everywhere. Bruce Kilgore designed it as a basketball shoe and Nike released it in 1982. It has a leather upper with a perforated toe, a rubber outsole and Nike Air cushioning hidden inside the midsole, so you will not see the air unit from the outside.

Air Force 1 in white, in black or with rope laces

The Air Force 1 Low '07 Triple White is the one everybody knows: all white, it works just as well with jeans as with a tracksuit or a suit without a tie. The Low '07 Black is its opposite and handles everyday wear much better without looking dirty. The Rope Laces versions keep the same trainer and swap the flat lace for a thicker, braided rope-style lace that changes the look; you can get them in white and in black. If you want something less common, the Low '07 LV8 mixes white and black with metallic silver details.

What size Nike Air Force 1 to order

Nike itself says the Air Force 1 tends to run large because of its roomy toe box, and recommends going half a size down from your usual Nike size. If you have wide feet, stick to your normal size. The leather gives and moulds to your foot with wear, and to stop the toe creasing too much it is best not to over-tighten the laces.

White Air Force 1 trainers need a bit of care: a spray of Crep Protect before the first wear and a brush now and then. If you like the Air Force One and want to try other models from the brand, in Nike you will also find the P-6000 and the Air Max 95, and in classic retro trainers more silhouettes from the same era.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Air Force 1s run large?

Yes, according to Nike they run slightly large because of the roomy toe box, and the advice is to go half a size down from your usual Nike size. If you have wide feet or prefer a looser fit, stick to your normal size.

What is the difference between the Air Force 1 '07 and the Air Force 1 Rope Laces?

The trainer is the same leather Air Force 1 Low '07. What changes is the lace: on the Rope Laces it is braided like a rope, thicker and fuller than the standard flat lace. It is a small detail, but it changes how the top of the shoe looks quite a bit.

How do I stop my Air Force 1s from creasing?

Some creasing in the leather at the toe is normal with wear, and it shows more on the Air Force 1 because the toe box is roomy. Nike advises not over-tightening the laces, and getting the right size also helps stop the shoe from bending too much as you walk.

How do I clean white Air Force 1s?

Take the laces out, brush the sole and wipe the leather with a cloth and lukewarm water with mild soap or a dedicated trainer cleaner. Let them air dry, away from the radiator. The laces, especially the rope ones, are best washed separately by hand.
