It is a running shoe first and everything else second: the Adidas Adizero Evo SL Black White was designed for training, although you see it on the street more and more. Technical mesh upper in Core Black, logos and Three Stripes in Cloud White, and a thick LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam midsole, the same foam family used in Adizero racing shoes. The design takes cues from the Adizero Pro Evo 1, one of the brand's fastest shoes.

The figures that matter if you are going to run in it: around 224 g in UK size 8.5, a 6 mm drop (38 mm at the heel and 32 mm at the forefoot) and a rubber outsole with clear rubber zones at the rear.

How to wear it away from training: black drawstring tech trousers and a windbreaker, or straight black jeans with a grey sweatshirt. Black hides everyday wear well.

Care: hand wash the mesh in cold water and let it dry away from radiators so the foam does not lose its shape.
