Adidas Superstar Pokémon Pikachu White

Pikachu, played down: the Adidas Superstar Pokémon Pikachu White is part of adidas's collection marking 30 years of Pokémon. Compared with other, much more colourful pairs from the collaboration, this version starts from a Cloud White base with details in black and metallic gold, so the nod to Pikachu shows in the details rather than in the colour.

The base is the Superstar II: leather upper, textile lining, rubber shell toe and the Three Stripes on the side.

• Model: Superstar II, adidas x Pokémon
• Upper: leather
• Lining: textile
• Outsole: rubber
• Colour: Cloud White / Core Black / Gold Metallic
• Style code: KI2857

Being white, it is a collaboration that is easy to wear every day without looking like fancy dress. Pair it with straight blue jeans and a grey sweatshirt, with wide black trousers and a yellow tee if you want to push the reference, or with a black Three Stripes tracksuit. For collectors, it is worth keeping the box and paper in good condition.

Clean the leather with a damp cloth and mild soap, and the rubber toe with a soft brush.
