As they themselves say, FC Barcelona is more than a club. Since 1899, they have gone from being a neighborhood team to becoming a global institution capable of influencing both on and off the field.
And that ambition is also evident in their brand strategy: UNICEF, Nike, Spotify, Marvel… If the blaugranas know how to do something, it is to play in all leagues and win.
Today we put on the fashion jersey to review some of the most outstanding collaborations of FC Barcelona, focused on style and streetwear
How Barça has entered the world of streetwear
This is not a passing fad nor a reaction to the latest trends. While other teams have started flirting with streetwear in recent years, Barça has long understood that football is also played in culture.
From high fashion to streetwear, passing through the Motomami universe, the club has become an icon capable of connecting with fashion without ceasing to be football. If one day they decided to compete with big brands, more than one would have to worry… but luckily, their thing is still the ball.
That said, they have no lack of merits: they have been working with Nike for over 27 years. Messi was only 11 years old when that relationship began. And since then, they have not stopped sneaking into the conversation where sport, style, and pop culture intersect.
The collaborations that set style
Here we will not focus on designers or collaborations that have dressed the team, although we love the collaboration with the Rolling Stones, with Thom Browne or with Patta; here we will focus on those collaborations that have been made to be worn by the culés.
- Nike SB Dunk Low “Catalunya” (2021)
Inspired by the blaugrana colors and the Catalan senyera, these Dunks were released under the Nike SB line. Although they did not carry the official Barça crest, the entire design paid tribute to the club. They were highly coveted in the sneaker world and are now collector’s items.
- Nike Air Max Plus x FC Barcelona (2023)
Official sneakers with Barça colors and the crest on the heel. Part of a lifestyle collection that also included urban clothing. They were released in limited form and were very well received by fans and sneakerheads.
- Patta x Barça (2023)
Streetwear collaboration with the Dutch brand Patta that included clothing and, unofficially to the public, some Nike Air Max 1 customized with Barça aesthetics. The sneakers only circulated among players and content creators, becoming rare pieces.
- Nike x Barça – Capsule collections (various years)
Nike has launched collections with items such as backpacks, caps, sweatshirts, and jackets with an urban look, far from the classic sports look. Many pieces are inspired by Camp Nou, La Masia, or the spirit of Barcelona city.
Collaboration with Messi
Although Messi is no longer part of the club, it is impossible to talk about Barça without his name coming up in the conversation. The bond remains alive, and the mutual affection as well. So much so that the weight of La Pulga has been so great that he has managed to drive collaborations on his own, like this one we could not leave out of the article: the Adidas Samba Inter Miami CF Messi Black.
The Sambas have been a classic for decades, but this special edition signed by Messi keeps the iconic silhouette, but with that black and pink combo that shouts “Messi is here” without needing to say it.

The black suede upper and the pale pink 3 stripes are pure elegant contrast. And yes, it is still a Samba: light, comfortable, with a classic rubber sole and perfect for everyday wear. But this version has something more. That collector’s touch that only a well-made collaboration can give you.
If you want to know more about materials, sizing, or why we loved them live, here is the full review we did on the Samba Miami of Messi:
You can find them in our online store or come see them (and try them on) at our locations in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, or Dubai. Because having style also means knowing how to choose what you wear… and when.
